The A-9050 is beautifully built and looks great in its black or silver models. There are other inputs. There are two coaxial digital inputs and an optical input on the left, four analog inputs and a phono input. It offers you the best in two worlds with other possibilities. Digital signals are decoded by a 24 bit/192 kHz resolution Wolfson DAC. The reference frequency of the input signal is not greater than 96 kHz. Nevertheless, it is slightly louder than the CD (44.1 kHz) format and can be played best by high-definition recordings. Onkyo amplifies the signal through the Darlington circuitry so that bipolar transistors are connected such that a transistor amplifies the current to the next one. This is achieved in three measures in the Onkyo A-9050. There is also a circuit that compensates for electrical imperfections in the speakers that would potentially result in smoother performance with unmatched impedance speakers. SoundingA-9050 has a step matching bass press. This doesn't really have anything to do with this process because it's almost of a loudness click. We left it alone and unpressed until we tried it. We chose the Direct option, which disables the sound controls and makes the sound more natural and clear. The Onkyo amp has strong bass frequency weight, noticeable both when singing / songwriting and when playing heavy rock / metal. Bass guitars sound big and full-fledged and kick drums with strong assault. In the harmonics there is also a lot of tension and a heavy emphasis on cymbals. What is lacking is a definite outcome. The middle strip is not as complex as we like, which takes away strings of texture and allows a slightly thin vocal sound. You don't have to play excessively loud for long stretches before boredom sets in. The biggest benefit of Onkyo A-9050 is that it has both fundamental tones and harmonics in order to play high and low volumes and can play loud with strong bass weight. Yet we 'd need greater resolution. The analog inputs provide the potential to enhance sound by using a better DAC.
